When only the best is good enough – Unidrain revitalises seaside hotels in fashionable Tisvilde, Denmark
The project involved the total renovation of two hotels, Helenekilde and Tisvildeleje Strandhotel, which for decades have attracted seaside guests from all over the world. The old shared bathrooms and low ceilings installed in the 1970s were removed and replaced by the new owners, Alexander and Sarah Kølpin, with a confident and uncompromising sense of style and quality. The couple have high standards of quality, so each element was carefully selected – all the way from the 1930s electrical fittings and porcelain toilet brush holders to the minimalist wall-based drains from Unidrain.

Since 2003, Unidrain has experienced explosive growth in Scandinavia, with products that have fundamentally altered the perception and application of bathroom floor drains. From being merely a "hole in the floor", the drain has become an active design element in the bathroom. Today, the company is the biggest supplier of drains to the Danish building industry, and more and more home-owners are choosing Unidrain drains when renovating bathrooms. With the exclusive HighLine series, you can for example continue the floor tiling and thereby almost entirely hide the drain, or you can combine the use of other materials from the bathroom in the changeable panel. In other words, drains from Unidrain represent the epitome of style, function and freedom of choice.

More than 150,000 Unidrain drains have been sold in Scandinavia, and the company has created a design style that will adorn any bathroom. The drains also reduce the risk of water damage, as they are screwed in right against the wall, behind the tiles and the wet room membrane. This increases the efficiency of the seal, thanks to Unidrain's special patented wall flange.

From seaside hotels to apartments
Unidrain has entered into partnerships with large-scale construction projects the world over, with the aim of developing and supplying innovative floor drain solutions that will bring a sense of quality and functionality to the bathroom. The common characteristics are quality and clean lines, as can be seen at Copenhagen's Hotel 27, Yoo/Philippe Starck, and the Hotel Hilton in Finland. Unidrain has also set its stamp on several new developments in the UK, such as Ashbury Brook and Mossley Hill in Liverpool, and the Isle of Dogs, Cross Harbour and Lime Harbour in London.

Unidrain has branches in Sweden and Finland, and distribution agents in Norway and Germany. Projects have also been established or are under preparation in several other European countries, as well as in the Middle East, North America, South Africa and Australia.
