Safe Danish design solution
Unidrains well-placed floor drain has taken the market by storm and is already fitted in over 100.000 Danish bathrooms. The secret of the Danish floor drain is that the floor fitting itself is supplied with vertical wall flanges, which form a secure waterproof overlapping with the wall membrane. At the same time, the drain is a stylish design element in the bathroom.

The quite special and innovative aspects about Unidrain's drain is that it is not placed in the middle of the floor, but along the wall. And this difference transforms the drain from just being a hole in the floor, to a beautiful and active design element in the home's most exklusive room. At the same time, the wall placement provides a large number of practical advantages.

When the drain is traditionally placed in the middle of the floor, this requires that slopes from four sides are established for the water to be lead down towards the drain and this also means that floor tiles have to be cut so they fit around the drain. With the drain placed along the wall instead, it is possible to make a completely level floor surface with whole tiles and an even slope from just one side. This gives a far more easy and stylish design in the shower cubicle.

There are also practical advantages, that you no longer stand on the drain when you are in the shower just as all the work for the artisans of fitting the drain and levelling the floor is much faster and more simple when the drain is not in the middle. In this way, the risk of faults - and thereby water damage - are reduced considerably.

The secret of Unidrain is that the floor fitting itself is supplied with vertical wall flanges, which form a secure waterproof overlapping with the wall cladding. Without this detail, creating a completely waterproof solution could not be done. Unidrain, which is patented almost world-wide is developed in close collaboration with the construction industry's two leading research institutions, the Technological Institute and the Danish Building Research Institute. The drain complies with all applicable norms and is Water and Drain approved.

The drain units from Unidrain are manufactured in high-quality stainless steel and supplied in a number of different lengths and variations as well as with different design patterns on the grates. That means that basically every wish can be accommodated.
