New standard in floor drains
Did you know that…
Danish design is admired around the world for its simplicity and quality?
Furniture, lamps and Unidrain floor drains are gaining in popularity internationally.
Principle
Unidrain's fundamental principle is, in all its simplicity, based on supplying the floor drain with one or more vertical flanges. The vertical flanges mean that the floor drain continues up the wall - in one unbroken piece. Unidrain thereby uses the same technology to achieve waterproofing as has always been used in the construction industry:

When two building components require a waterproof join, for example in the transition between roof and chimney, overlapping flashing is used to create a seal.

A similar principle is at work in the sealed joint between the drain unit and the vertical wall flanges: the vertical wall flanges, together with the lubrication membrane, form a perfect, wet-room secure overlap against one or more walls. At the same time, the wall flanges ensure precise fastening during the entire construction process.

The principle is simple and logical, but also unique: Unidrain was the first to use "flashing" techniques on walls in combination with floor drains. The system has been patented internationally.

A Unidrain consists of just four parts:
  • The drain unit, with one or more vertical wall flanges for optimum wet-room security
  • Several different types of outlet unit, depending on the construction task
  • Frames in several heights, depending on the choice of tiles
    ClassicLine frame: brushed stainless steel - H 8, 10, 12 mm
    HighLine frame: brushed, solid stainless steel - H 10, 12, 15, 25 mm.
  • ClassicLine grate or HighLine panel
ClassicLine grate: solid brushed steel - five designs.
HighLine panel: Panel, Cassette or Custom solution.
