At Unidrain we have won the very prestigious Good Design Award, which was founded by Charles and Ray Eames in 1950. The iconic prize goes to our soap shelf and shower scraper from the aesthetic Reframe Collection series.

Unidrain’s exclusive accessory series Reframe Collection first saw the light of day last autumn. A few months after the launch, the soap shelf with shower scraper in this bathroom range has won us a place at the top of the international design elite. An international jury has awarded the very prestigious Good Design Award to the Reframe solution for the shower cubicle. One of the oldest and most acclaimed design awards, which was founded in Chicago in 1950 by the architects Charles and Ray Eames, Edgar Kaufmann Jr. and Eero Saarinen.

“We are really proud and very honoured that the Reframe Collection has been awarded one of the most iconic and oldest design prizes in the industry. It’s a real pat on the back for us,” says marketing manager Birgitte Arendsdorf Olsen.

Luxury in the bathroom

The award-winning soap shelf includes an integrated shower scraper, which is held in place by a set of hidden magnets. In this way, two of the central and indispensable elements in the bathroom are combined in an elegant and functional way.

The combination of aesthetics and functionality is the hallmark of the entire Reframe Collection series, which also includes toilet roll holders, towel rails, towel hooks and toilet brushes. All elements that bring more consistency and personality into the bathroom.

“The bathroom has become one of the most central rooms in the home, which we are spending more money on and want to exude personality and elegance. The Reframe Collection transforms everyday experiences into luxury experiences. The accessories are available in a variety of colours, which create a whole new expression in the bathroom, says Birgitte Arendsdorf Olsen.

“We believe that people want intelligent design that makes everyday life easier and more inspiring. And we feel that the Good Design award is very much an acknowledgement of that approach,” she concludes.
