Configure your own modular linear drain online

Customising a linear drain demands precision and a clear overview. With our updated Module Configurator, you can handle the entire process from selection to visualisation and documentation in one digital tool, from the first measurements to a production-ready solution.

Unidrain’s modular linear drains are used in projects where the drain length and installation need to be adapted to site conditions. In the configurator, you build the solution digitally using your project dimensions. The system will then generate technical drawings as the basis for production. Drains up to 5,500 mm are supplied as one fully assembled unit. Longer solutions are delivered in sections that are welded together on site.

The updated configurator enhances usability and flexibility. It has been expanded with more options and an improved visual build-up and preview process, so you can continuously follow how your drain solution is put together.

“There are a lot more options and choices now, and at the same time it’s become easier to see what you’re doing as you go. You can follow your solution visually and work with highly precise measurements, which provides a strong foundation for your planning and design“, says Henrik Tietgen Lund, Technical Support at Unidrain.

Greater flexibility – and precision down to one millimetre

One of the key updates concerns the expanded customisation capability. You can now configure modular drains in a wider range of colours and materials – including HighLine Colour frames and panels – and choose between different grates, frames, installation heights and outlet housings. You can also specify installation for timber joist floors up to 2,000 mm and concrete installations up to 15,000 mm. As you work, the drain is built up visually in the configurator.

Precision has also been significantly improved. Drains can now be adjusted in length down to 1 mm. The system suggests suitable configurations, while still giving you full manual control when you wish.

Once complete, the configurator generates a full documentation pack with a 3D drawing and an order list, providing a solid basis for pricing and order placement.

“All this gives you an even better basis for decision-making. You can check the measurements, see the solution, and have the documentation ready straight away. That makes the process much clearer“, says Henrik Tietgen Lund, adding:

“I’d also like to emphasise that our Customer Service team is, of course, always ready to help with configuration, so the customer can be completely confident they have the right solution before the drain goes into production.”
