The Czech prize was awarded by the store ‘Obklady, dlažby, sanita’. The prize is given to interesting products that offer unique solutions to familiar problems. Unidrain won the prize for ‘product of the year’ from a unanimous expert jury made up of professionals from the construction and equipment industry. The jury highlighted Unidrain’s innovative and timeless design and pointed out that the linear drain makes it possible to use large tiles and retain that elegant look.
“Unidrain is design and functionality wrapped up in a single streamlined product. This is Nordic design at its best. That is why Unidrain is very popular in the Nordic countries. But we are also seeing Unidrain gaining ground in the rest of the world. The Czech prize is a very good example of this. We hope the prize will help to show the way for Danish design in a part of Europe that Denmark does not normally look at,” concludes Peter Secher.
